John T. Matlock – Bedford
John T. Matlock, 87, of Bedford, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 8:43 a.m. at his son’s residence.
Born November 24, 1924 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Jessy and Elizabeth (Hardage) Matlock. He married Helen C. Capps on July 8, 1948; and she preceded him in death on April 22, 2005. He worked at Cosners as a meat cutter for 25 years. Before that, he owned and operated a grocery store in Jones Mill, Arkansas. He was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Bedford.
Survivors include his son, Michael Matlock and wife Cindy, of Bedford; two grandsons, Dustin Matlock and wife Kristi, and Aaron Matlock, all of Bedford; one granddaughter, Jessi Matlock of Houston, TX; two great-granddaughters, Alli Matlock of Bedford and Parker Theede of Houston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson- Lee Funeral Home, with Brother Kenny Roberson and Pastor Eric Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.

Tony D. Stigall – Bedford
Tony D. Stigall, 45, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012, at his home.
Born December 17, 1966 in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Jack Stigall and Nita Carol (Brown) Moore. He was a laborer in the stone industry. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the Class of 1985. He served in the National Guard in Bedford.
Survivors include two daughters, Nita Stigall of Noblesville, and Crystal Stigall, of Jeffersonville; one son, Cory Stigall of Columbus; his mother, Nita Carol Moore of Bedford; his father, Jack Stigall and wife, Agnes, of Bedford; one sister, Stephanie Ryan, and husband, Barry; three brothers, JR Stigall and wife, Michelle; John W. Stigall and wife, Kortny; and Jason Stigall and wife, Joni, all of Bedford; one step-sister, Jacinda Hammel and husband, David, of Trussville, Alabama; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Moore, and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-
Lee Funeral Home, with Brother Perry East officiating. Burial will be in Leatherwood
Cemetery.

Miriam “Middy” Hoover – Mitchell
Miriam “Middy” Hoover, 98, formerly of Evansville, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born June 5, 1914, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Edgar James and Lavinia (Xander) Eckensberger. She married Gilbert Hoover in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1970.
Miriam was a caregiver and a member of Jacob Finger United Methodist Church and the Evansville Coin Club.
Survivors include her caregiver, Gretchen Blackwell, of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn E. Quick; and brothers, Edgar James Eckensberger, Jr., J. Franklin “Hank” Eckensberger, and Willard Eckensberger.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 17, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Eric Kersey officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Darren Hamilton, Stewart Hamilton, Spencer Hamilton, Donald Owens, Rob Rickord, and Scott Blevins.

Charlotte Eckensberger Harris – Fort Wayne
Charlotte (Eckensberger) Harris, 70, formerly of Mitchell, passed away September 7, 2012. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, at Mitchell Cemetery.
Robert Frederick Frazier – Williams
Robert Frederick Frazier, age 63, of Williams, formerly of Massena, New York, died at 4:26 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012, at his residence.
Born February 2, 1949 in Port Huron, Michigan, he was the son of Charles and Kathleen (Chatland) Frazier. He married Katherine Dow on October 18, 1969 at Brushton, New York and she survives. He was a production worker at GM Powertrain, Bedford, retiring June 30, 2000. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford; veteran, U.S. Army ; American Legion, Brushton Moira Post (New York), and U. A. W. Local 440.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Frazier, Williams; three daughters, Allison Heinlen, of Cincinnati, OH; Wendy and husband Richard Cass, of Indianapolis and Tina and husband George Nitsos, of Carmel; one son, Chad Frazier, of Williams; 8 grandchildren, Alec and Courtney Jewell; Cadence Cass, Madeline and Samuel Heinlen, Emma and Abigail Nitsos and Addelyn Frazier; four sisters, Patricia Dow, of Ormond Beach, Florida; Aletha Sabin, of Moira, New York; Marie Gagnon, of Milton, Florida and Dianna Buron, of Port Huron, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronald Frazier; sister-in-law, Donna Frazier and brother-in-law, David Gagnon.
There will be a Memorial Mass Friday, November 16, 2012, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford, with Fr. Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family invites friends to the Frazier home following the Memorial Mass for a celebration of Bob’s life.
Memorial contributions may be considered to the American Cancer Society or to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford.
Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
