Warren T. Hobson – Mitchell
Warren T. Hobson, 90, of Mitchell, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Garden Villa Nursing Facility.
Born December 11, 1921 in Fairview, Warren was the son of Leathel J. and Elizabeth Marie (Sitler) Hobston. He married Mildred L. Fish on December 25, 1947 and she preceded him in death. Warren was a graduate of Tunnelton High School and Purdue University. He was a civil engineer who owned and operated Warren T. Hobson & Associates Inc. for 30 years. Warren was a member of the Third Christian Church of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine Temple, The La-Or-Ma Shriners, Scottish Rite, F & AM Cedar Lodge 161 in Leesville, American Legion Gillen Post 33, a lifetime member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was an Army Veteran serving in WW II at Pacific Theatre in the 1884th Engineers Aviation Battalion where he earned two Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Medal and he also served during the Korean War.
Survivors include four sons, Warren T. Hobson II, of Mooresville, John A. Hobson and wife Linda, of Burleson, TX., Gary J. Hobson and wife Kathy, of Carlsbad, CA., and William K. Hobson and wife Martina, of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Kristin Hobson, of MI, Kimberly Hobson, of VA., Tara Roach and husband Michael, of MI, Amber Rayhill, of Mitchell; four great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Hobson and one sister Mary Jane Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two half sisters, Wanda Pershing and Wilma Lassen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Allen Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Gillen Post 33. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, October 22 at Day & Carter Mortuary with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.

Gary D. Lagle – Bedford
Gary D. Lagle, 65, of Bedford, passed away at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
He was born October 29, 1946 in Lawrence County. He was the son of Sherman and Elzada (Conner) Lagle. He married Rita (Darrell) Lagle on June 28, 1995 and she survives. He was associated with the Jehovah Witness’s Church.
Survivors include his wife Rita Lagle, of Bedford; one son, Don Lagle, of Bloomington, one daughter, Michelle Lagle, of Bedford; one step-daughter, Bobbie Andis, of Bedford; two brothers, Richard and Bill Lagle, both of Bedford; two sisters, Mary Lackey and Shirley Lagle, both of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Alfred Lagle.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson Lee Funeral Home with Brother Mark Marrow officiating. Burial will be in Dive Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
