Ruby Mae Anderson – Bedford
Ruby Mae Anderson, 93, of Bedford, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the White River Lodge.
Born March 23, 1919 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Adolph Bahr and Mabel (Rager) Baht Linticum. She married Marshall Anderson and he preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Bedford High School and retired from RCA. She was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. She loved her church and enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and needlework. She was a much loved mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Anderson and wife Wanda, of Bedford; a daughter, Marsha A. Stauffer and husband Samuel, of Flint, MI; a grandson, Jeffery S. Anderson, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, Gary Wayne Anderson; a brother, Charles Bahr and a sister, Emma Ritter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Englewood Baptist Church Building Fund.
