The following obituaries were received for Wednesday –


Terry Lane Slinkard – Bedford
Terry Lane Slinkard, 66, of Bedford, passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Hospice House of Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 20, 1946 in Bedford, he was the son of Gerald and Barbara (Beadie) Slinkard. He married Rita Turpin on October 13, 1973 and she survives. He was a welder and an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Slinkard, of Bedford; three sons, Jathan Slinkard, of Florida, Jared Slinkard, of Bedford, and Terry Slinkard, of Bedford; two daughters, Tammy Slinkard, of Bedford and Erin Slinkard, of Indianapolis; one brother, Tom Slinkard, of Bloomington; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Glen and Bob.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 3rd at the First Assembly of God Church in Bedford, with Rev. Dan Turpin officiating. Visitation will be from 3 .m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the church.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mary M. Miller – Bedford
Mary M. Miller, 81, of Bedford, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Garden Villa.
Born April 10, 1931 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Stanley Miller and Julia (Zonkle) Rose. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her sister, Opel Lessig, of Bedford; three nieces, Michelle Stroud, Melisssa Lessig and Melanie Hedge.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 31st and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
