Edward “Ned” Moore Boyer II – Germantown
Edward “Ned” Moore Boyer II, 52, of Germantown passed away Tuesday, February 28th 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Memphis.
He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, a 1982 graduate of Ball State University, where he played football and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and was currently working at FTN Financial. Ned was a loving son, brother, husband, father, friend and dedicated volunteer coach, for various youth athletics throughout the community.
He is survived by his loving wife Amy T. Boyer; children Liza Boyer Easley and husband Edward, Doug Patrick and Bridget Boyer; parents Ned and Mary Nell Boyer; sister, Angela Falcone and husband Bob, and brother Greg Boyer and wife Barb.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Boyer.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Church of the Holy Spirit, in Memphis Tn., 2300 Hickory Crest, Memphis, TN. 38119.
The family request that memorials be directed to North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society.

Thomas Seybold Jr. – Newburgh

Thomas Seybold, Jr., 91, a former resident of Mitchell, passed from this life surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.
Tom was born on February 15, 1921 in French Lick, Indiana to the late Thomas Seybold and Lindy (Hall) Seybold Caplinger.
He was a graduate of West Baden High School and lived his life in Orange County with his wife, Marjorie Marie (Pitcher) Seybold. She preceded him in death in May 1988.
He was a pipefitter and member of the Local Union #136-Plumbers and Steamfitters of Evansville.
Tom served his country honorably during WWII from January 25, 1943 – January 6, 1946 in the U.S. Army. He received three bronze stars, a good conduct medal and victory medal for his service.
He held memberships in the Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post #250 and the Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9107, both in Mitchell. He also enjoyed fishing and later in life, he took an interest in dancing.
He is survived by a host of loving family including his son, Thomas L. (wife, Annette) Seybold of Newburgh, IN; daughter, Marquetta (husband, Buddy) Dalton of Centerton, IN; 4 grandchildren, Phillip, Eric & Amanda Dalton and Garrett Seybold; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and three sisters, Margie Seybold, Minnie Dixon and Grace Abel.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell, Indiana. Military honors wil be accorded by the American Legion Post #250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9107.
