Patricia Ann “Patti” Austin – Mitchell
Patricia Ann “Patti” Austin, 54, of Mitchell, passed away at 4:56 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born July 16, 1957, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Eugene “Smokey” and Allie Mae (Brown) Shoults. She was united in marriage August 6, 1975, to Jack Austin. She was self employed and a 1975 graduate of Mitchell High School. Patti was a member of Tulip Street Christian Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include her mother, Allie Shoults, of Bedford; son, Dameon Thomas Austin, of Mitchell; sisters, Elaine and husband Earl Raeburn, of Escondido, California, Brenda Stalker, of Orleans.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Corbin officiating. Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Robert Earl Davis Sr. – Huron
Robert Earl Davis Sr., 58, of Huron, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 at his home.
Born March 23, 1953 in Bedford, he was the son of William A. and Moneva I. (Hillenburg) Davis. Robert worked at Victor – Oolitic Stone and then Big Creek Stone.
Survivors include his caregiver and companion Brenda K. Morris Davis; two sons Robert Davis Jr and wife Julie of Springville, and James Davis and wife Mandy, of Bedford; a daughter, Nikki Robbins and husband Eddie, of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Austin Davis, Alexis Davis, Abby Davis and KayLynn Robbins, of Bedford; two sisters, Janet Glasgow, of Springville and Joyce Collins and husband Dean of Bedford; three brothers, Williams Davis and wife Nancy, Dennis Davis and wife Arleen, Claude Davis and wife Debra and Philip Davis, all of Bedford.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Arlene Thompson.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012, at Day & Carter Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
