Steve Terry – Mitchell
Steve Terry, 65, formerly of Mitchell, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at IU Health Indianapolis.
Born July 3, 1946, in Bedford, he was the son of Asa and Juanita (Eager) Terry.
Steve graduated from Mitchell High School in 1964 and Indiana State University in
1968. He was a member of Spice Valley Baptist Church and a U. S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his children, Marcy L. Pedersen of Mitchell, Toni J. Wade, of Mitchell
T. J. Terry, of Cary, North Carolina, J. Stephen Terry, of Bedford, of his children, Cheryl A. Terry, Mitchell, parents, Asa and Juanita Terry, Mitchell; sister, Charlotte “Sissy” Sproles, Mitchell; brother, Tim Terry, Houston, Texas, 13 grandchildren
Celebration of Life service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, in the Memorial
Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor J. Stephen Terry officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

John Thomas Brown – Williams
John Thomas Brown, 82, of Williams, passed away at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 22, 1929 in Martin County, he was the son of Ralph and Agnes Levina (Wininger) Brown. He married Annabelle Sims and she preceded him in death. He then married Mary Stuart on December 22, 2003 and she survives. He retired as a supervisor for Indiana University and was a farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was a IU Alumni and a member of Crossroads Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Williams; a daughter Elizabeth Wilcox, of Mitchell; two step-sons, Michael Bruner, of Williams and David Bruner of Bloomington; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; a son Russell; a sister Bonnie Moore; two brother Robert and Eugene (Jr.).
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Williams Church of Christ Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Nancy Marie Jones – Bedford
Nancy Marie Jones, 71, of Bedford died Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 11:30 p.m. at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, after an eight year illness.
Born January 16 1940 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Nathaniel and Margaret Tucker. She was first married to Richard Perkerson, second to Mr. Sheets and third to Russell David Jones in 1982.
She graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker and retired from J&L Steel, where she worked as an ad assistant.
Surviving include her husband Russell David, of Bloomington; one son Dennis Perkerson, of Nashville, TN; one sister Libby Dean of Avon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Michael Perkerson.
There will be graveside services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cresthaven Memory Gardens, with burial to follow. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
