Anna Ada Conner – Springville –
Anna Ada Conner, 96, of Springville died Wednesday, at Garden Villa in Bloomington.
Born May 21, 1915 in Burnside, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Thomas Fount and Mary Emma (Hardwick) Strunk.
She married Ora Roscoe Conner on February 13, 1934 and he preceded her in death on July 8, 1985.
She was a member of the Springville Pentecostal Mission.
Survivors include a daughter, Mona Jones and her husband, Rickie, of Springville; a son, Dale Conner and wife, Kathleen, of Stanford; grandchildren: Ricky Dale Conner, David Conner, Jeff Jones, Brian Jones, Timmy Jones, Angela Davis, Karen Smith, Cheryl Stancombe, Kathryn Blackwell, Kevin Jones and Treva Peckham; several great grandchildren; one sister, Winnie (Clarence) Kirkman, of Plainfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four daughters, Mary Marie, Annetta Rose, Sherrill Conner and Edith Kay Jones; two grandsons; Steven Wayne and Rickie Alan Jones; one great granddaughter, Sonia Kay Jones; four brothers, Luther, Clarence “Bud”, Leonard and Orville Strunk; four sisters, Clara Thompson, Nancy Stout, Betty Baugh and Bessie Marie Strunk.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, at Springville Pentecostal Mission with Rev. Wendell Phillps officiating, with burial follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at Springville Pentecostal Mission. Family and friends are invited to sign the guest book and light a candle in memory of Anna at www.daycarter.com
James Ingalls – Oolitic
James Ingalls of Oolitic passed away Monday night at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis at the age of 57.
Born in 1954 in Bedford to James and Shirley Ingalls, Jim was a radio personality and a member of the First Christian Church of Bedford.
Jim is survived by his son David, parents James and Shirley, sister Cynthia, brother Joe, niece Jessica, nephew Samuel and companion Francena.
Visitation will be held today from 3pm to 8pm at Ferguson Lee, with funeral services being held on Friday at 10:30am at First Christian Church, burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
