Oliver “Pick” Chastain – Bedford
Oliver “Pick” Chastain of Bedford passed away Wednesday monring at his residence at the age 91.
Born in 1920 in Cale Indiana to Grover and Ina Chastain, Pick was a veteran of the US Army.
Pick is survived by his son Oliver, daughters Barbara and Debra, step son Gary, step daughters Linda and Jeanette, eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jack, Jasper and John, sisters Enid, Mildred and Kathryn and a niece and nephew.
Visitation is Friday from 3pm to 8pm at Ferguson Lee and funeral services are Saturday at 1pm at Ferguson Lee.
Melissa “Missy” Sullivan – Bedford
Melissa “Missy” Sullivan of Bedford passed away Wednesday afternoon at IU Health Bedford Hospital at the age of 41.
Born in 1969 in Bloomington to Lebert and Mary Lou May, she married Scott Sullivan in 1989 and he survives.
Missy was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Bedford Boat and Sportsmen Club.
Missy is survived by her husband, father Lebert, sons Adam, Ethan, Ezra, and Elijah, daughter Ashlyn, 3 grandchildren, sisters Sherry and Penny, brother Butch and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation is Saturday from 4pm to 9pm at Day and Carter, and funeral services will be held Sunday at 2pm at Day and Carter.
