Robert Walker – Mitchell
Robert Franklin Walker, formerly of Mitchell passed away at 2:00AM on Wednesday, June 1st at Graham Health Care and Rehab Center at the age of 82. Born in 1928 in Orange County to Roscoe and Hazel Walker, he was a self employed carpenter, and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by children, Robert Walker and Sheri Lane. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Betty Bolin and one grandson. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 7th at Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
