Warren Pace Mitchell – Bedford
Warren Pace Mitchell of Bedford passed away on Sunday, February 27th at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at the age of 90. Born in 1921 in Lawrence County to Samuel O. and Lola Mitchell, he had been married to Harriet Drake since 1942, was retired as a science teacher at Bedford Junior High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Marin Corps during WWII, was a Purdue University Agriculture Alumni, was a member of the New Christian Church, Bedford Lodge #14 F & AM, Order of the Eastern Star and was a Past Worthy Grand Patron, past Lawrence Co. 4-H Fair Board member and former 4-H Leader. He is survived by four children, Patricia Gramling and her husband John, Lola Kozak and her husband Stanley, Thomas Mitchell and his wife Donna, Mary Myers and her husband Mark; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 3rd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with military honors accorded after the service. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, March 2nd at Day & carter Mortuary.
Paul Lambrecht – Bedford
Paul Lambrecht of Bedford passed away on Sunday, February 27th at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at the age of 86. Born in 1924 in Lawrence County to Charles and Alma Lambrecht, he had been married to Iva Brooks since 1949, was a farmer and was a member of Pinhook Church of Christ. He is survived by three sons, Jerry Lambrecht, Phillip Lambrecht and Donald Lambrecht; two daughters, Julia Curren and Barbara Arnold; as well as several grandchildren and one sister, Mary Root. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 2nd at 11:00AM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, March 1st at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
Mary M. Harrington – Bedford
Mary M. Harrington of Bedford passed away on Wednesday, February 23rd at her residence at the age of 60. Born in 1951 in Bedford to Quentin and Irene Mynatt, she had been married to William Harrington since 1996, was a homemaker and was a member of the Moose Lodge. She is survived by one daughter, Stacy Lovell; several grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Mynatt and his wife Tina and Sam Mynatt; five sisters, Luara Lake and her husband Forrest, Faye Yates, Wilma Hughes, Chris Shanon and Lynda Shanon. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joy Lions and one brother, Ernest Mynatt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 1st at the Bethel Church with burial to follow in Dishman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
