Janice Marie Edwards – Louisville
Janice Marie Edwards of Louisville, formerly of Williams passed away on Thursday, February 17th at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville at the age of 52. Born in 1958 in Bedford to L. Vernon and Barbara C. Johnson, she had been employed at Derby Industries and was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School in the class of 1976. She is survived by sons, Perry Edwards and Mathew Edwards; her parents; one sister, Sheryl McBride and her husband Jan and one brother, Faron Johnson and his wife Karen. She was preceded in death by one brother, Alan Johnson. Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, February 22nd at Port Williams Cemetery.
Leilah Eiscle
Leilah Eiscle, newborn daughter of Zachary and Brittany Eisele passed away at 1:00PM on Friday, February 18th at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. She is survived by her parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 22nd in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Randy Lee Godsey – Mitchell
Randy Lee Godsey of Mitchell passed away on Thursday, February 17th at his residence at the age of 49. Born in 1961 in Bedford to Earl Leroy and Mary Godsey, he had been married to Vickie Workman since 1990, was a military policeman in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 250. Randy was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School in the class of 1979 and was a member of Spice Valley Baptist Church and been employed at Regal Beloit and Baxter Pharmaceuticals. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Jennifer Neill and Jill Copp; his parents; brothers, Mark Godsey and Scott Godsey; one sister, Kristi Rahill; as well as several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, February 23rd in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1:00PM on Wednesday at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
