Larry Dale Abel – Vine Grove
Larry Dale Abel of Vine Grove passed away on Saturday, December 4th at his residence at the age of 67. Born in 1943 in West Baden to Preston and Louella Abel, he was a member of the Fayetteville Church and had served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He is survived by two daughters, Janet Waite and Donna Webb; one son, Larry Abel; four sisters, Alice, Joy, Kathy and Kay; five brothers, Ralph, Wayne, Max, David and Terry; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Eugene, Billy and Darrell. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Springville West Cemetery with military honors accorded graveside. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, December 8th at the funeral home.
