William O. Davis of Bedford
William O. Davis of Bedford passed away Tuesday evening, November 2nd at Garden Villa at the age of 91. Born in 1919 in Bedford to Oscar and Myrtle Davis, he had been married to Helen Chambers, was employed at Holsum Bakery for many years and enjoyed playing bingo and horseshoes. He is survived by five sons, Clyde Davis, Solomon Davis, Richard Davis, Bob Davis and Donnie Davis; one daughter, Dianne Capps; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and one son, John Davis. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 5th at Gilgal Cemetery with burial to follow. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on Friday, November 5th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
