Lois Geneva Brown – Bedford
Lois Geneva Brown of Bedford passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 12th at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 83. Born in 1927 in Oolitic to Cecil and Nellie Ida Hall, she married to John Flynn in 1942, Lawrence Harrell in 1973 and John Brown in 1979. Lois was a member of the Oolitic United Methodist Church, The American Legion Post #33 Auxiliary, the Forty and Eight, The Bedford Boat and Sportsman’s Club, The Elks and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Lea Brown; two stepsons, Gregory and Michael Brown; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Etta Meadows, Helen Lewis, Norma Moore and Delores Cummings. Funeral services will be at 3:00PM on Friday, October 15th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, October 14th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
