Tommy D. Cornwall of Mitchell passed away Saturday afternoon, February 6th at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 70.
Born in 1939 in Kentucky to adopted parents Delmont and Eula (Hardman) Cornwall, he had been married to Mary E. Morgan since 1973.
Tommy had worked in sales and was a driver for Crawford-Morris Lumber Company for over 30 years and was a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Rosezona Bowden and her husband Michael, Shaunta Dunbar and her husband Ron; as well as several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 7:00PM in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Stampers Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until the hour of service on Thursday, February 11th at the funeral home.
