Mary Elizabeth (Ray) Snapp of Bedford passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 3rd at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 91.
Born in 1918 in Shelbyville, Indiana to parents, Russell and Carrie (Armstrong) Ray, she had been married to Clarence Raymond Snapp since 1938.
Mary was an executive Secretary with the Indiana Training Institute, was a proof reader for the Bedford Times Mail, was a member of the First Methodist Church and was a secretary at Bedford High School.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Ray T. Snapp and his wife Connie, Ron E. Snapp and his wife Rebecca; several grandchildren; one brother, Richard Ray.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Katherine Walker; two brothers, Burton and Pete Ray.
A private graveside service will be held with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
