Milo Bush, 95, Buddha

Milo Bush of Buddha passed away Saturday morning, January 16th at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 95.


Born in 1914 in salem to parents, Tilford and Anna (Brewer) Bush, he had been married to Izillah Faris since 1932 and was self-employed as a carpenter.
Milo was a member of the Tunnelton United Methodist Church, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Gillen Post No. 33.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Joan Lee Mathis and her husband Carrol, Beverly Jane Girdley and her husband Arch as well as several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Lola Garrison, Eva Collins, Dora Heironimus and Edna Connerley.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 20th at 10:30AM at Tunnelton Cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, January 19th at Chastain Funeral Home.
