Margie Deckard of Bedford passed away Monday morning, December 28th at White River Lodge at the age of 89.
Born in 1920 in Dugger, Indiana to parents, Ermy and Esta (Smith) Bartlett, she had been married to Clinton Deckard since 1938, worked in assembly at RCA retiring in 1974, was a graduate of Needmore High School in the class of 1938 and attended Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by one son, Johnny Deckard and his wife Nancy; one granddaughter and one brother, Ermy Bartlett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one great grandson; three brothers, Elbert, Bernard and Robert Bartlett; two sisters, Imogene Blivens and Oweetah Mitchell as well as one aunt Velma Judah.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at 10:00AM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday , December 29th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
