Emma Imogene Fish of Bedford passed away Wednesday morning, October 14th, 2009 at her residence at the age of 78.
Born in 1931 in Martin County to parents Oda and Lena (Inman) Baker, she had been married to Robert Joe Fish since 1951.
Emma was retired from the retail clerks union and had worked in various retail and grocery businesses, was a member of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association, as well as was a 50-year member of the Thursday Night Euchre Club.
She is survived by two sons, Rennie Fish and his wife Mary, Robert “Bob” Fish and his wife Mary; one daughter, Janie Westerfield and her husband Mark; six grandchildren, Brent Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds and his wife Kathalijn, Amanda Wagner and her husband Ed, Sarah Fish, Lindsay Wright and her husband Ryan, Lauren Phillips; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Hudson, Bonnie Dalton and Margie Hodges.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Jason Fish; one brother, Gene Baker; two sisters, Shirley Hill and Alice Baker.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Mount Pleasant Christain Church with burial to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, October 16th and from 10:00AM until the hour of service of on Saturday, October 17th at Mount Pleasant Christain Church.
