Hazel Annette Blansett of Bedford passed away Saturday at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85.
Born in 1924 in Mount Airy, North Carolina to parents Calvin and Bette Mills, Hazel was married to Everett Lee Blansett for fort-nine years.
She is survived by one son, Marion Lee Blansett; one daughter, Patricia Ann Blansett; a sister, Irene Clark; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Mary Annette Blansett; a sister, Era Inman; and two brothers, Harley and Robert Mills.
