Lois Fleenor of Bedford passed away Tuesday evening at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 76.
Born in 1932 Clay County Kentucky to parents George and Frances Henson, Lois was a retired line worker at RCA in Bloomington, attended the Assembly of God Church in Harrodsburg, and was a loving and very caring grandmother with an amazing talent for song-writing.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Ritter and her husband Danny, Debra Andrews and her husband William; two sons, Michael Fleenor and his wife Kelly, Scott Fleenor; six grandchildren, Jay, Jeff, Jade, Ritter, Zachary, and Taylor; as well as five great grandchildren; one sister Jerri Smith and her husband Larry; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Boyd; and one daughter, Michelle.
Services will be held on Saturday (July 18th) at 1:00 PM from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca.
Visitation is Friday (July 17th) from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and from 12:00 PM until the service on Saturday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
