Georgia Wilma Jones of Springville passed away Wednesday at her residence at the age of 73.
Born in 1936 in Wayne County, Kentucky to parents William Howard and Sarah Maxwell, Georgia worked as an inspector at RCA in Bloomington and was a Pentecostal Evangelist for many years, as well as a member of Wildflower Pentecostal Church in Mitchell. She is survived by her husband Jessie; four sons, Tom, and his wife Geneva, Ronnie, Paul and his wife Sara, Scott and his wife Jacque; two daughters Rita and her husband Tommy, Maria; two sisters, Marie and Mae; eighteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; six sisters; and one great grandson, Daniel.
Services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Church with burial to follow in Lowder Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Day & Carter Mortuary.
