Plass Johnson of Jeffersonville, formerly of Bedford, passed away Monday night at Clark Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.
Born in 1923 in Lawrence County to James and Ide Mae Johnson, Plass was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Fairview Community Church.
He is survived by his daughters Jacque and Jamie, sisters Loretta and Lucille, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Emma, son Gary, six brothers and 5 sisters.
Services will be held Friday at Feguson Lee at 1pm with burial to follow at Pleasant Run Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 3-8pm at the funeral home.
