Edgar McElroy of Bedford passed away Friday morning at his home at the age of 69.
Born in 1939 in Celina Ohio to Ralph and Mary McElroy, Edgar was retired from the US Army and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife Esther, son Bruce, daughter Angela, sisters Betty, Mary Lou and Jerilyn, 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert, William, Henry, Leo, Ralph and Walter, and sister Patricia.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1pm at Ferguson Lee.
Visitation is from 9am until time of the service Monday.
