Dorothy Philpot of Bedford passed away Monday morning at her home at the age of 77.
Born in 1932 to James and Minnie Reynolds on Patton Hill, Dorothy was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Bedford and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW post in Oolitic.
She is survived her son Michael, daughters Bonnie and Loretta, sisters Lina, Dolly and Ruby, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Milford, Morris, Noble, Thomas, and James, and sisters Juanita, Marie, Josephine and Mildred.
Services will be held Thursday at Day and Carter at 10AM with burial to follow at Patton Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4 – 8pm at the funeral home.
