Herman Davis of Mitchell, passed away Saturday morning at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 94.
Born in 1914 in Lawrence County to Isom and Lenna Davis, Herman was a member of the Mitchell Masonic Lodge and Wesley Chapel United Church.
He is survived by sons Roger and Danny, daughters Nancy and Diane, sister Mary, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Violet.
Services will be held Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home at 11AM with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8pm at Chastain Funeral Home.
