Monte S. Anderson of Bedford passed away Saturday morning at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 65.
Born in 1943 in Bedford to John and Arie Anderson, Monte was a retiree from NSWC Crane.
He is survived by his wife Rhea, son Trent, brother John, sister Wynn, 2 grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Hopkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00pm today and a special visitation for his Amish friends Wednesday from 9:00 until 11:00am English Time at Sharon Mosier’s Log Cabin Auction Barn in Bromer.
