Marilyn Meadows of Bedford passed away Saturday afternoon at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis at the age of 67.
Born in 1941 in Bedford to Cletis Cazee and Mary Ann Rodman, Marilyn was a homemaker and member of Crossroads Community Church, and sang gospel music at Mr. Gatti’s in Bedford, Goodtimes in Bloomfield, and at nursing homes in Bedford, Mitchell and Paoli.
She is survived by her daughters Cynthia and Kimberly, sons Steven, Thomas, Larry and David, several brothers and sisters, 21 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, the couple who raised her, Roscoe Jr. and Bessie Parker, 2 half-brothers, 1 half-sister, and 1 grandson.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Springville Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 4:00 until 8:00pm and again from 10:00am until time of service Thursday at Day & Carter.
