Ruth B. Jones of Mitchell, formerly of Bedford, passed away early Monday morning at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 87.
Born in 1921 in Crossville, Tennessee, to James and Lettie Grant, Ruth was a homemaker and of the protestant faith.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra and Tracy, brother James, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and one niece.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 1 great grandson.
Graveside services will be held this afternoon at 1:00pm at Green Hill Cemetery with burial to follow.
No visitation is scheduled.
