Wilma L. Teague, 88, Bedford

Wilma L. Teague of Bedford passed away Wednesday morning at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 88.


Born in 1921 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Isaac and Nannie Hatley, Wilma was a homemaker, employee of Bedford National Bank, Bedford Police and City Clerk and Treasurer’s Office, and was a real estate agent for many years, and was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Bedford Board of Realtors, and South Central Association of the Visually Impaired.
She is survived by her husband Clifford, sons Clifford and Kenneth, sisters Ica, Edith and Shirley, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson.
Local services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4:00pm at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
Additional services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00pm at Caruth Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs with burial to follow at Morningstar Cemetery.
Local visitation will be from 12:30 until time of service tomorrow at Ferguson-Lee.
