Carrie Hammersley of Bedford passed away Tuesday afternoon at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 85.
Born in 1923 in Indianapolis to John and Lilly Combs, Carrie was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela, sister Kathleen, brothers John and Thomas, 2 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Millard, sister Carolyn, brother Clyde and one grandson.
Graveside services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00am at Green Hill Cemetery with burial to follow.
No visitation has been scheduled.
