Gretna Beryl Elkins of Bedford passed away Tuesday at her home at the age of 91.
Born in 1917 in Harrodsburg to George and Myrtle Luther, Gretna was a retiree from Central Foundry and member of UAW Local #440.
She is survived by her daughter Sheila, sister Beulah, and one granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, daughter Sharon, brother Ansel and one great grandson.
Services will be held Friday morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Clover Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm Thursday at Day & Carter.
