Geraldine Woods of Bedford passed away Friday morning at Bedford Regional Medical Center after an illness from March of 2008 at the age of 84.
Born in 1924 in Bloomington to Gilbert and Pearl Thornton, Geraldine was a homemaker, former member of the Moose Lodge in Bedford and of the protestant faith.
She is survived by her son Patrick, step-daughter Sandra, sisters Mary and Gretchen, brothers Stanley and Gilbert, 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, sisters Jackie and Doris, and brothers Merlin, Ronnie and Robert.
No services have been scheduled.
Visitation will be held tomorrow afternoon from 6:00 until 7:30pm at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
