Naomi Sue McDaniel of Bedford passed away Monday morning at her sister’s Mitchell home at the age of 70.
Born in 1938 in Bedford to Oscar Grogan and Maggie Grogan Chastain, Naomi was a nurse’s aide at the Hospitality House in Bedford, and a member of Southland Church of Christ and volunteered at the Community Care Center.
She is survived by her daughters Anita, Kay and Joni, son Troy, sisters Shirley, Zelma and Louella, brothers Marvin, Millard, David and Jack, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Juanita, sisters Eva, Tommy and Penny, brother Bob, husbands Irvie and Chester, and step-father Ray.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at Southland Church of Christ with burial to follow at Dive Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00pm today at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
