Robert G. Anderson of Bedford passed away Saturday morning at his home at the age of 78.
Born in 1930 in Bedford to Clifton and Zelma Anderson, Robert was a retired construction electrician, worked for the Lawrence County Highway Department, was a retired farmer, and member of Leatherwood Christian Church, Lawrence County Cattleman’s Association and IBEW.
He is survived by his wife Vera, son Todd, sisters Alma, Doris and Carolyn, 1 grandson, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Raymond, and sister Alice.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm today at Ferguson-Lee.
