James Edward Goff of Williams passed away early Friday morning at Westview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 72.
Born in 1936 in Lexington, Kentucky to Charles Jr. and Elizabeth Goff, James was a retiree from NSWC Crane, member and elder at Spice Valley Church of Christ helping to build and design their building, member of Triangle Education Fraternity, Army veteran and Ford Foundation Scholarship recipient.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughters Lydia and Sarah, son James Jr., brother Charles III, and 6 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother William. Services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00 at Cresthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Burton Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 3:00 until 8:00pm at Cresthaven.
