Robert W. Erwin of Mitchell passed away Saturday night at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 88.
Born in 1920 in Lawrence County to Robert and Mary Erwin, Robert was a tool and die maker from W.F. Myers, Navy veteran of World War II, and member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Irene, daughter Patricia, son Robert, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Mary.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be tonight from 5:00 until 8:00pm at Chastain.
