Joel W. Ward Stillions, Sr. of Bedford passed away Sunday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 56.
Born in 1951 in Bedford to Harley and Nellie Stillions, Joel was a welder and fabricator for Reynolds, Inc., veteran of the US Army and member of Davis Memorial Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife Terri, daughters Bridget and Wendi, son Joel II, brother Gary, sister Linda, 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00am until noon at Day & Carter Mortuary with a private graveside service to follow at Judah Church of Christ Cemetery.
