Perry Baker of Bedford passed away Monday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 79.
Born in 1929 in Bedford to Perry and Eveline Baker, Perry was a retiree of GM, owner and broker of Baker Realty, member of First Baptist Church, the Lions Club, Bedford Supper Club, Elks Lodge #826, and past president of the Board of Realtors.
He is survived by his wife Frankie, children Debbie, Jeffrey, and Joseph, brother Scott, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm Thursday and again from 9:30am until time of service Friday at Day & Carter.
