Vida Sue Reynolds of Bedford passed away yesterday at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 78.
Born in 1930 in Fairfax, Virginia to Elmer and Mayme Blevins, Vida was a homemaker, devout Christian, wife, mother and grandmother and ran a snack bar at the Skyhaven Auction Center.
She is survived by her husband Gail, children Glenda, Lori, Albert, Brian, sisters Francis, Lue, Lois and Edie, brother Doug, and 7 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Shirley and Darlene and brothers Kenny and Charlie.
Services will be held Friday morning at 11:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00pm and again from 9:00am until time of service Friday at Day & Carter.
