Roy W. Catozzi of Mitchell passed away Saturday night at Mitchell Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 81.
Born in 1927 in Bedford to Henry and Ilar Catozzi, Roy was a custodian at Burris Elementary, Navy veteran of World War II, Boy Scout leader, charter member of White River Bow Hunters, and member of Mitchell Masonic Lodge #228 F&AM, Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post 250, and Mitchell Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his children Anthony, Thomas and Tammy and 2 grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, son Todd, brothers Henry, Carl, Jay and Sylvester, and sisters Gilda and Pauline.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30am at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday and again from 9:00am until time of service Wednesday at Chastain.
