Dennis W. Sargent of Bedford passed away Friday morning at his home at the age of 86.
Born in 1922 in Indian Springs to Dovey Sargent, Dennis was a heavy equipment operator in the construction business, protestant and veteran of World War II including the Normandy invasion.
He is survived by his sons Dennis and David, and 5 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Marilyn.
Graveside services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 at Trinity Springs Cemetery.
No visitation has been scheduled.
