William Gene Hensley of Bedford, known to friends and family as “Billy,” passed away Monday at his home at the age of 29.
Born in 1979 in Bedford to Dennis Hensley and Eva Chenault, Billy was a welder at Manchester Tank in Bedford, and veteran of the Navy.
He is survived by his parents, fiancé Amanda, brother Bobby, step-sister Jessica, grandparents Hurstle, Ocie, Geneva and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Bert, one uncle and one step-grandfather.
Services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow at Cresthaven.
