Thomas Scott Johnson of Bedford passed away Sunday at his home at the age of 43.
Born in 1964 in Bedford to Ivory and Juanita Sue Johnson, Thomas worked at Burger Chef and Pleasers Restaurant.
He is survived by his father, daughter Heather, step-sons Kyle and Nathan, sisters Teresa and Judith, 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and caregiver Patricia.
He is preceded in death by his mother, wife Harriett, and brother James.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon at Leatherwood Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation will be from 10:30 until 12:30 tomorrow at Day & Carter Mortuary.
