Clyde H. Beedie of Oolitic passed away Friday morning at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 69.
Born in 1939 in Bedford to Max and Olive Beedie, Clyde was a retired supervisor at GE In Bloomington and continued to work at GE until the present, and was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford.
He is survived by his wife Janice, daughters Lesa, Debra and Janna, son Mike, sisters Rosalyn, Lucille and Sue Ellen, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, step-brother Joe and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Marjorie, brothers Tom and Gerald and sister Harriet.
Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 1:00 until 9:00pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00am until time of service at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
