Nelson E. Nicholson of Bedford passed away Monday afternoon at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 64.
Born in 1943 in Bedford to Homer and Dolly Nicholson, Nelson worked at Hatfield Iron & Metal and was a veteran of the US Army and member of American Legion Cecil Martin Post 250.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, and brother Arthur.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother warren.
Services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation is from 4:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow at Day & Carter.
