Phyllis Turpin of Bedford, passed away Wednesday morning at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 75.
Born in 1932 in Bedford to Spencer and Marie Isom, Phyllis was a cosmetologist at Alden’s Department Store and a homemaker and a member of Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children Jeffery, Sherry, and Bryan, sister Francis, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harvey, brothers Spencer and Wilbur, and sister Karen.
Services will be held Sunday at 4:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Day & Carter.
