John S. Pilman of Mitchell passed away Monday morning at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home at the age of 90.
Born in 1917 in Brownstown to John and Effie Pilman, John was a quarry foreman for Lehigh in both Mitchell and Brownstown and was a member of Mitchell Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Lion’s Club, Mitchell American Legion and was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his son John, sisters Lucille and Marjorie, and 1 grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marguerite, brothers Bill, Delbert and Oscar and sisters Nina and Lora.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10:30am until time of service at Cresthaven.
