Catherine Howell of Bedford passed away Wednesday evening at Westview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85.
Born in 1922 in Lawrence County to George and Anna Pace, Catherine was a homemaker and former member of Hoosier Hills Doll Club.
She is survived by her daughters Ruth and Dolly, son Jeffery, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, special friend Clara, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Homer, sister Ruth, and brother Jim.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Day & Carter.
